Conservative and proud of it!

Back in 6th grade, I was lucky to win my very first orchestra audition in the Bergen Youth Orchestra, I graduated from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music with a B. Music in Flute Performance and have performed for over 40 years as principal flute and piccolo in symphonic and chamber orchestras in the US and Europe. 14 years ago, I decided to pursue another path--financial services, transitioning my orchestral leadership and team approach to business. I have served as president of a large chamber of commerce, participated in a national leadership program, and have won a young leadership award. Each experience has lead to more opportunities allowing me to enter fascinating worlds. As a result, I have concluded that the next step for me is to either enter politics or start a non-profit. My feeling is that I can help more people by being involved in our local or state govt. Although I am a Republican, that doesn't mean that I don't have a heart! I want to give people a hand up, not a hand out. Hillel, a revered Jewish sage said: "If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am only for myself, what am I? And if not now, when?" When is now.
